When I just started my career, I was passionate about product/industrial design. And eventually, that passion drives me to become a T-shape designer also experienced in design research and trend scan.






Cai Niao AGV is an experimental project we did for Alibaba in 2016. At that time, Google and Amazon had already launched their AGV. Our goal is to design an autonomous delivery experience. When we started the industrial design process, we tried to enhance Cai Niao's brand identity. Cai Niao (菜鸟), the vegetable bird, is a Chinese analogy of green hands. Their Logo is a flappy bird. To us, Cai Niao means fearless and also the courage to challenge the old stagers. In the development, we made the overall shape chubby yet, gave it a pair of "angry" eyes. With the huge interactive circular LED on the front panel, we want to give an announcement, "Hey, we are good to go!"
